The Overnight Yellowstone Snowcoach and Stargazing Tour provides a unique perspective on Yellowstone’s geothermal features in a dramatic winter landscape during the day and night.
Travel from Jackson, WY to Flagg Ranch (just south of Yellowstone) in wheeled vehicles. Then our custom designed Snowcoach takes you over snow-packed roads through Yellowstone National Park.
Our experienced guides bring you to the unique thermal features of Old Faithful, Upper Geyser Basin and West Thumb Geyser Basin.
You’ll spend the night at the renowned Old Faithful Snow Lodge, have the chance to watch the Old Faithful Geyser erupt against a starry-filled night sky, and learn the details about what’s up there above your head during a stargazing experience under one of the darkest skies in the United States.
Lodging and all meals are included along with the use of high-quality optics, Yaktrax traction devices, and walking poles.

Additional Tour Information
Enjoy the comfort of customized Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vans on your wildlife viewing tour. All vans are equipped with rooftop hatches for wildlife viewing.
Layering is key! We recommend guests bring a day pack and the following items: rain jacket, lightweight puffy or fleece layer, knit hat or beanie, sun hat or visor, and comfortable hiking shoes. Sunscreen is always recommended.
Public Tour Pick-Up Location: All guests joining our public wildlife tours will meet at the Teton Science Schools Jackson Campus at 700 Coyote Canyon road just outside of downtown Jackson. This central location offers visitor information, restrooms, and plenty of free parking.
Private Tour Pick-Up Location: Guests on private tours enjoy the convenience of being picked up directly from their home or local hotel. Please ensure your pick-up location details are provided at the time of booking.

Wildlife Expeditions is committed to providing our guests flexibility. For the Summer season, we will provide a 100% refund for cancellations seven days prior to trip start date. Within seven days, guests can choose a full tour credit valid for up to one year or receive a 50% refund.
