Trip Overview

See Yellowstone Like Never Before during the Day and Night

The Overnight Yellowstone Snowcoach and Stargazing Tour provides a unique perspective on Yellowstone’s geothermal features in a dramatic winter landscape during the day and night.

Travel from Jackson, WY to Flagg Ranch (just south of Yellowstone) in wheeled vehicles. Then our custom designed Snowcoach takes you over snow-packed roads through Yellowstone National Park.

Our experienced guides bring you to the unique thermal features of Old Faithful, Upper Geyser Basin and West Thumb Geyser Basin.

You’ll spend the night at the renowned Old Faithful Snow Lodge, have the chance to watch the Old Faithful Geyser erupt against a starry-filled night sky, and learn the details about what’s up there above your head during a stargazing experience under one of the darkest skies in the United States.

Lodging and all meals are included along with the use of high-quality optics, Yaktrax traction devices, and walking poles.

  • Expert naturalist guide with a trained eye for spotting wildlife and sharing the stories behind Yellowstone’s remarkable winter ecosystem.
  • Experience the heart of Yellowstone in winter aboard a custom snowcoach, accessing a landscape few visitors ever see.
