Then venture beyond the boardwalks on a guided interpretive hike, following scenic dirt trails into Yellowstone’s remarkable backcountry. Public Tours: Depart from the Teton Science Schools Jackson Campus.

Private Tours: Pickup is available from hotels and accommodations in Jackson, Teton Village, and select areas of Wilson. Additional pickup arrangements may be available upon request.

**Per Yellowstone National Park backcountry policies, groups hiking must meet a minimum size of four including guide.

Enjoy the comfort of customized Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vans on your wildlife viewing tour. All vans are equipped with rooftop hatches for wildlife viewing.

Dress comfortably for the day's weather and activities. Conditions in Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks can change quickly, so we recommend bringing a small day pack with the following:

  • Comfortable hiking shoes
  • Hiking daypack
  • Weather-appropriate layers (lightweight fleece or insulated jacket recommended)
  • Waterproof rain jacket
  • Sun hat or warm knit hat, depending on the season
  • Sunglasses and sunscreen
  • Personal medications
  • Camera (optional)

Pick-Up Times:

June 15 – September 4: 6:00 a.m.
September 5 – 30: 6:30 a.m.

A 10% deposit is required to confirm your reservation. Cancellations made more than 48 hours before your scheduled departure will receive a 90% refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the tour, as well as no-shows, are non-refundable.

National Park Entrance Fees, International Visitor Fees, and Gratuity are not included in the prices below.
