Born and raised in Washington, DC, TanO has always been enamored with the West. In 2018, a yoga retreat brought him to Idaho for the very first time. After experiencing the wide-open spaces, natural surroundings, and abundance of wildlife, returning to this great state was a foregone conclusion for him. With an extensive background in art, athletics, wellness, and music, TanO eventually became one of the most sought-after yoga instructors and wellness leaders in the Washington, DC, metropolitan area. After more than a decade in that role, TanO eventually accepted the position of wellness manager at The Lodge & Spa Brush Creek Ranch in Saratoga, Wyoming. After nearly two years at the ranch, he finally made his way back to Idaho. He became the property manager at the Mountain Academy of Teton Science Schools – Teton Valley Campus.
TanO looks forward to exploring the West to learn more about its amazing history, legendary figures, and the Rocky Mountains.
