Brenna is going into her fourth year as an environmental science and business student at Ohio University. Originally from Cincinnati, Brenna was introduced to recreation by her mom, who rock climbed and trail ran. She currently works as a trip leader and climbing wall supervisor for her university’s Outdoor Pursuits program, leading backpacking, canoeing, and climbing trips all throughout the eastern U.S. She also volunteers at a local bouldering gym on the side. In 2023, Brenna attended a study away program focused on conservation in California’s national parks, which sparked her interest in place-based education and brought her to Teton Science Schools. In her free time, you can find her rock climbing, running, backpacking, biking, or trying to learn something new.
