Emma Downie joined the Mountain Academy community in 2023 as lower school faculty on the Teton Valley Campus. A University of Vermont graduate with a degree in Sociology, Emma leverages her understanding of social dynamics to enrich her teaching practice. She moved to the Tetons to fulfill a childhood dream and is passionate about fostering the “whole-child” approach, committed to creating an environment that supports academic, social, and emotional development.
Outside the classroom, you can find Emma learning new sports, singing or enjoying time with her family.
