Lily Hudner

Lily (she/her) is a current Junior at Skidmore College in upstate New York, where she is on the Varsity Women’s Lacrosse Team and is an Environmental Studies major, as well as a Business and Religious Studies double minor. Her previous work as a Sleepaway Camp Counselor for two summers, as part of a Farm Crew, and as an Outdoor Trip Leader have set her up to learn about and educate others on sustainability and environmental issues while strengthening her own relationship to nature. Her passion for the environment and our public lands has driven her in other ways, where she has also been published twice in a Massachusetts regional newspaper, the Boston Herald, for two letters to the editor regarding Indigenous rights and land management in the National Parks. In her free time, Lily, who many of her friends call “Suds,” loves to read, paint, draw, go on hikes or walks in the woods, and spend time with friends. She chose to come to TSS because of her love for the Jackson Hole area and the unique landscape of GTNP, the opportunity to work outside and explore, and for the excitement of teaching young kids about the world around them.
