In interdisciplinary, place-based projects, learning can match the real world where “traditional” subject area content, skills, and dispositions are learned through an integrated and relevant approach that achieves proficiency of multiple standards. In this virtual workshop, hear examples of place-based projects from across grade levels and discuss how to apply the ideas in your own teaching and learning.
Professional Learning Objectives:
- I can plan and facilitate a locally relevant project designed to lead to learners’ mastery of outcomes/standards from multiple domains.
This virtual workshop is free to Wyoming and Place Network School teachers. Please email professionallearning@tetonscience.org for the discount code.
