In the spirit of the Reggio Emilia atelier there are a hundred languages and ways of listening, inventing, and possibilities in the mind of a child. Open your mind to new experiences through exploring the language of clay in an evening workshop. Our evening will begin with an introduction to experiencing clay with children through past project examples. Participants will learn how to use tools as well as basic techniques for working with clay, such as creating basic shapes, slipping and scoring, printing with natural materials and so much more. Following an instructional period, we will have time for open-ended exploration with materials. Come learn through play and exploration and be inspired to use new materials and tools in your teaching practice!
