TVCS Programs go to Yellowstone, Study Raptors and Butterflies

The fifth week of summer programs shows no sign of slowing down at Teton Valley Community School (TVCS)! Campers explored the geological features of West Thumb in Yellowstone National Park, mountain biked Sheep’s Trail in Teton Canyon, visited the Raptor Center to study birds of prey, explored art through the study of animals, and focused on “seed to plate” at the beautiful Lynn Canyon Ranch. In addition to the Raptor Center, the Pre-K explored nests and feathers around campus. The Toddlers in Nature program is raising butterflies (now in the chrysalis stage) and enjoyed a little outdoor painting as well!
