After growing up in the suburbs of New York, Danielle moved to Utah to start her path in environmental education. Over the years, Danielle has been working and traveling the country and abroad fostering her love for the outdoors in National Parks, AmeriCorps programs, residential outdoor schools, summer programs, experiential boarding schools, community gardens, and now here at TSS. After finishing her Master’s focusing on Sustainable Food Systems and social/cultural change, Danielle believes that building community around meaningful experiences outside can shift how people relate to their community and the natural world, which has incredible ripples towards societal transformational change. Building connections, mentoring educators and youth are some of the things that bring her joy in her work! In Danielle’s spare time she would most likely be dancing, doing yoga, hiking, or cuddling with her cat.
