Reilly Reinhold

Education Fellow

Reilly Reinhold

Education Fellow

Reilly graduated with a BS in Elementary Education from the University of Central Florida (go Knights!) in the spring of 2023. Although Reilly was born and raised in Indiana and is a Hoosier at heart, she’s spent the last six years soaking up the sun in Florida. During her time in the Sunshine State, she gained extensive experience working with children in traditional classroom settings, after-school programs, and even those in long-term hospital care. Reilly’s passion is watering the seeds that are her students and watching them grow! When she is not teaching, tutoring, or mentoring, you can find her reading, kayaking, cooking, or drinking obscene amounts of caffeine. Reilly is buzzing with excitement to explore the beauty of Wyoming and the opportunity to work with students in new and innovative ways.

She holds a degree in Outdoor Recreation from Montreat College and is a certified North Carolina Environmental Educator and National Association for Interpretation Certified Interpretive Guide. Katherine enjoys spending as much time outdoors as possible—whether backpacking, exploring new landscapes, or simply sharing good conversation with friends in nature. She is always eager to learn more about the places she calls home, believing that a deeper understanding of the land fosters a stronger sense of stewardship and connection to it.

Lily (she/her) is a current Junior at Skidmore College in upstate New York, where she is on the Varsity Women’s Lacrosse Team and is an Environmental Studies major, as well as a Business and Religious Studies double minor. Her previous work as a Sleepaway Camp Counselor for two summers, as part of a Farm Crew, and as an Outdoor Trip Leader have set her up to learn about and educate others on sustainability and environmental issues while strengthening her own relationship to nature. Her passion for the environment and our public lands has driven her in other ways, where she has also been published twice in a Massachusetts regional newspaper, the Boston Herald, for two letters to the editor regarding Indigenous rights and land management in the National Parks. In her free time, Lily, who many of her friends call “Suds,” loves to read, paint, draw, go on hikes or walks in the woods, and spend time with friends. She chose to come to TSS because of her love for the Jackson Hole area and the unique landscape of GTNP, the opportunity to work outside and explore, and for the excitement of teaching young kids about the world around them.

She loves getting her hands dirty with any farming, forest, or research project, and hopes to learn as much as she can about how best to care for the soil, systems, and species of a place so as to care for the communities that are interconnected there - she is especially excited to explore the unique ecology and history of the Greater Teton area and all of the education and adventure that it offers. In her free time, she absolutely loves hiking, running, camping, cooking, writing, and just about any craft.
